On Sunday June 10, Join the Friends of Cascade Siskiyou National Monument and naturalist Jeanine Moy for a spectacular day of wildflowers and wine.

This two part event begins with a guided hike at Grizzly Peak, where we'll take in the blooms and learn about the diversity of wildflowers that are found within the Monument. We will observe the flora of mature mixed-conifer forest, open meadows, and post-fire burned forest. After the hike, we'll head to Belle Fiore Winery in Ashland for wine tasting and discussion. We'll learn basic wildflower identification tips and play wildflower bingo!
Directions: To carpool, meet at 10:30 am outside of Northwest Nature Shop, 154 Oak Street, Ashland. We will meet at the Grizzly Peak trailhead around 11:00.
After the hike, we will carpool/caravan to Belle Fiore Winery, located at 100 Belle Fiore Ln in Ashland. Wine tasting from 2pm-5pm.

On the day of the hike:
- Be sure to bring a sense of adventure.
- Wear comfortable hiking shoes
- Bring lunch, snacks, and enough water for the day
- Additional items: Hat, Sunscreen, Walking Sticks, Binoculars, Hand Lens
- Bring layers
