Spare time on your hands? Looking for a way to give back to the community? The Bureau of Land Management and US Forest Service need you!
Christine Beekman, Interpretive Specialist, Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument will also tell about volunteer opportunities at the Monument. Public lands examples of volunteer activities include greeting hikers along the Table Rocks’ trails, providing information to visitors in the field, monitoring for botany or wildlife, and recreation site and trail maintenance. Refreshments will be provided.
Volunteers get the opportunity to see beautiful locations, explore new lands, gain valuable skills, and meet new people.
