 Learn about recent field-research findings from within the monument. Presenters and their topics include: Dennis Odion, Forest Dynamics (climate change emphasis), Fire Ecology, and Forested Ecosystem Management; Henry Whitridge, Vegetation Change Following Grazing Removal in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument; Stewart James: Dialects, Clines, and Some Random Singing: The Geography of the Hermit Warbler Songs. 
     Friends Research Fund students Megan Mortimer-Lamb and Spencer Jones tell about Geologic mapping of the Western and High Cascade Ranges. Colin Malloy, gives a preview of his musical exploration inspired by the Monument.
     Pepper Trail reads his poems from Cascade Siskiyou, a 2016 Oregon Book Award Finalist for Poetry.
